The dark truth of dropshipping (that you need to know) before starting. First things first, be sure to save this video for later. If you want to succeed long term in e-commerce and dropshipping overall, not only do you need to be a good marketer, but you need to be good at business at a whole. Now, what do I mean by this? What I'm trying to say is the reason that 99% of people fail first month is because they're expecting to get lucky or hit the jackpot on their first, second or third product test. And obviously by the end of their third test, if it doesn't work out, they've obviously lost all hope and just end up quitting. The reality is you're not going to spend 10 hours or so finding a product, building out your website and running ads to be all up from there. And then, boom, on the path to becoming a millionaire. I know that's kind of how it's depicted in these little TikTok montage videos, but that's just not how it works. And there definitely is some cases where this does happen. And honestly, happen to me in my senior year of high school. And I got really lucky in the sense. But eventually that product that you did get lucky with will die out essentially and you'll essentially be left with nothing. This is why slower success is way better, because if you really think about it, less luck is involved and more skill is built prior to actually finding your first successful winner. And that skill really puts you on the map for a longer period of time. Because in my case, because I got lucky, I scaled my first product to around 250 grand in sales within my first eight months of dropshipping. But after that product died out and I couldn't run it anymore, I was basically left with nothing and didn't know what I actually did in order to hit first place, let alone be able to replicate it again. So instead of hoping and hitting the million dollar jackpot when it comes to dropshipping, your time would best be spent actually researching and building skills and just trying different angles. And the only way this is by free resources and actually building real experience based on the fundamentals from those free resources. If you and don't quit, you will eventually your break.
