Reply to @jemappellezilla Why do you expect American things in France? You're defeating the reason why you're there. Alright let's do it. Let's piss off some more French people. American chaos goblin in France here to share another thing that is difficult or impossible to find in France. And this one's really gonna get people angry. Deodorant that works. Now deodorant is a pharmaceutical product and pharmaceutical products are regulated much more heavily in France than in the States. That usually means that they are much better, safer, more modern, have better ingredients. I honestly I stan a French pharmacy. But whatever they put in their deodorant, ça marche pas [it don't work]. Give me aluminum filled, cancer causing, poor clogging American deodorant any day. I would never say this myself, but France has a reputation for having a bit of a body odor problem. I wanna say that I don't believe that that's true. I absolutely do not believe that French people smell bad. I would never say that and I don't believe that. I do not think that French people smell bad. I think that French people don't have deodorant that works. I'll put it out there that I'm willing to be proven wrong about this. So if you are French and you have a deodorant that you swear by, I will try it. But I have tried a lot of French deodorants in my time here in France. I smelled bad. And honestly, now that I think about it, it's possible the problem is me. I maybe just smell so bad as an American with a lifetime of diet soda and corn syrup in my veins that no deodorant can possibly correct what I'm emanating. I'm a little scared to post this one because I know I'm gonna get crucified but C'est la vie you know.
