When I started Nasty Gal in 2006 I had so few tools at my disposal there was no AI, we had no cloud. there were no API's there were no "if this, then that" tools there were no productivity tools there was no project management software you couldn't collaborate on creative projects none of it. people talk a lot about innovation is that innovation doesn't have to be that big of a deal and while the word innovation can sound intimidating like you have to build the next billion dollar app or invent a portal to another dimension that's not necessarily what innovation is it can be as simple as using AI to help generate ideas for how to better serve your customers and it's the savvy founders that understand how to utilize AI they're gonna stand out to investors to their customers. Who are gonna have happier teams you may not know this but AI literacy is one of the top five competencies that professionals are gonna need to survive as a leader it's easy to wanna solve all of the problems by yourself AI is like having a great employee where instead of coming to and being like what do I do it comes to you and says here are some suggestions there's an amazing talk on the DWEN Tech Hub DWEN is Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network DWEN brings women together to help them advance and succeed as they build their businesses you can learn so much more about this and hear experts talk about it trust me these are resources that you want to have because what you don't want is to get left behind

When I started Nasty Gal in 2006, I had so few tools at my disposal. There was no AI, we had no cloud. There were no APIs, there were no "if this, then that" tools, there were no productivity tools, there was no project management software, you couldn't collaborate on creative projects, none of it. People talk a lot about innovation, but what they don't realize is that innovation doesn't have to be that big of a deal. And while the word innovation can sound intimidating, like you have to build the next billion dollar app or invent a portal to another dimension, that's not necessarily what innovation is. It can be as simple as using AI to help generate ideas for how to better serve your customers.
