what i spend in a day as a 22 yr old working in nyc I made breakfast at home, which might be the only non-spend of the day. Took the train to the path, which I had to do twice a day when I'm in person since I work in Jersey, which was $5.65 one way. Usually I bring lunch, but I didn't cook last night so I didn't have extras to bring. So I went to the mall to get Chick-fil-A for $12.89. Then I took a cute little mental health walk to get some free therapy before it was back to my desk. We did have free snacks on off the day, which came in clutch. After work, I headed to Brooklin for a greentail social club event, which was $5.65 to get there. During the event, I bought dinner for me and my sister, which was $25.04 and a cocktail for $13.07. Lastly, I got these adorable mahjong cookies from a small business vendor at the event for $15. My last actual spend of the night was my train home for $2.90. And my total for the day comes out to $88.64.
