My honest day as a software engineer 6:45am: wake up to a bunch of slack notifs from people on the east coast 7:00am - check to see if the build that was failing last night magically fixed itself over night (It didn't) 8:00am - got the build to pass so go for a run Running by high schoolers and afraid theyre going to bully me 9:00am - meet up with a friend for matcha & hot girl walk Why is a matcha latte $8 10:00am - 2:00pm standup, cross-team meeting, launch planning meetings 2:00pm - start having anxiety so gotta eat 😭😭 Daily hashbrown 2:30pm - get distracted and learn how to build a paver patio from scratch It took us 2 days to layout the pavers over the 18ft by 23 foot work area (I don't have a house to build a patio) 3:00pm-6:00pm Delegate remaining coding tasks to my executive assistant 6:30pm - burrito time Need I say more 7:00pm time to relax and watch House of the Dragon season 2 And my bf has never seen GoT smh 10:00pm - 😴😴😴
