Tech leaders obsession with AI is cringe. Does anyone else feel like their work leadership is just shoving AI down your throat? It's always like some guy named David and he built a React app once and now has the word builder in his LinkedIn title. Like I get it, you want to replace us. And then they're like, oh, don't worry about your job security. This is merely just a tool to help you be more productive. Everyone make sure you download this IntelliJ plugin. Check out this AI powered Slack workflow. Why can't we pull in the deadline? Can't Claw just summarize the meetings for you? There's got to be some quotas around this that they're trying to hit because it's actually insane. Like I'm going to use it because I'm too lazy to write unit tests myself. But it's annoying when it's being like mandated from leadership. Like can we go back to the AI days when we weren't supposed to use it and that it was like our own little dirty secret? Now it feels like they're just pushing us along to dig our own graves. Like I get it, I've been digging in the grave for a while now, but like now that you want me to, I don't want to.
