This one setting change will instantly level up your video quality. If you're a videographer and you want to level up your video quality, I'm about to save you thousands on gear upgrades. I see so many videographers with expensive cameras, the Sony A7siii, FX3, FX6, but their footage still looks noisy. This is because they're missing one critical setting. Here's a secret. Always shoot in your camera's base ISOs. For Sony cameras like the FX3, that means ISO 800 and ISO 12,800. Nothing else. I never touch ISO 1,000, 4,000, 6,000. Those settings just destroy your image quality. Stick to your base ISOs and you will begin to see cleaner, more professional looking results. Now I know some people will argue that this doesn't matter for certain projects, but I've tested this extensively. Base ISOs make a difference that clients actually notice. Agree or disagree?
