What's a NAS and why do I use one? NAS = Network Attached Storage NAS or Network Attached Storage is kind of like a hard drive that is living on your network. Any device that's connected to this network can access it. Mine has almost 4 terabytes of storage. I use it to back up my laptops, phones, photos, and files. Think of it as your own personal Google Drive, but completely under your control.
