After 9 months of shopping, I finally decided on my first ever watch. This is by far the most expensive purchase I've made in my life, so I really wanted to be thoughtful and find the perfect piece to start my collection with. I tried on so many watches over the last few months, the Cartier Panthere, the Tank Louis, the Baignoire bangle, and even the Jaeger Reverso, but nothing really stuck with me the way the Bvlgari Serpenti did. I always caught myself thinking back to this one. Before making the final call, I tried on the Serpenti Seduttori, which was stunning, but my heart was definitely set on the Tubogas. I tried on the double coil, which is beautiful, but a bit much for everyday wear. The green and black dials were gorgeous, but didn't really suit my skin tone as well. I also loved the steel white face with diamonds, but wasn't sure how well it went with the rest of my gold jewelry. After a lot of debating, I finally landed on one that felt perfect.
