I'm a board certified family nurse practitioner. And how much would you make per year doing this? I make about a million a year. And how long have you been doing this for? I've been in the field of nursing for 19 years. Um, I started as a CNA, then RN and nurse practitioner. I've been a nurse practitioner for eight years. So, 19 years total. Now, how do you make so much money as a nurse practitioner? What is exactly that you do? So I do 1099 contracting for bigger telemedicine companies. So I help see their patients for them. And then I also own my own virtual weight loss clinic. What made you want to start your own clinic? And it said it's working? Um, so during COVID, I had to travel, um, leave my son with my mom. And during that time, I was working six days a week, 12 hour shifts, one day off. And it really burnt me out. So once I got over that, over the three months, I came back home and I'm like, I have to do something different. I can't do this. What do you love most about working for yourself? The fact that I can travel wherever, whenever I want and still make money. What advice do you want to give to someone that's a nurse or a nurse practitioner and they want to make money like you? So if you're a nurse, go back to school, get your nurse practitioner license and then get that one year of experience. So you get that clinical experience and then just invest into a mentor, someone that's aligning with where you want to be at and just follow their footsteps.
