come to the barn with me after work come to the barn with me after work I got to the barn around 5:30 Got in and of course had to give Thor some carrots I put them in the grooming stall And then had to get ready Had to put my helmet on, had to put my hair up I always ride with my hair up I groomed him I tacked him up, put his saddle on, put his bridle on And whenever I put his bridle on him, he always yawns So I let him do that for a few seconds It was extremely hot out today So our plan was to do a little flat work and then go on a hack And just yap It feels so good, especially after what felt like the longest winter in the entire world To ride outside every day And to be able to go on a hack, especially at this time of the day It's my favorite thing to do after work And of course we have to say hello to some of the horses that were out in the field So we did that and then came back in Untacked him, took his saddle and his boots off And even though we didn't work too hard today, he was extremely sweaty So I gave him a little hose down to cool him down At this point, we've been at the barn for 3 hours So it's time to put the horses to bed Of course, give Thor some more carrots and some head scratches because he loves that And that was my after work ride today.
