The country's new Minister of Education requires each student to have a clean uniform, formal haircut and mandatory greeting of teachers and principal upon entering the school. Now this is crazy. So apparently El Salvador has officially banned the Edgar cut. Basically, if you have the Edgar cut and you live in El Salvador and you're trying to go to a public school, you will either be kicked out or failed out because apparently they are not tolerating the Edgar cut at all. The Minister of Education of El Salvador has said and I quote: They will no longer allow hairstyles such as the mohawk or the so-called "Edgar cut," a bowl cut-like style popularized in recent years by young Latinos, particularly in the U.S. Basically, if you have that Edgar cut over there and you try to go to school, you're cooked. Now I don't know what the president of El Salvador has specifically against Edgar cuts. He probably had a nigga with the Edgar cut still his girl or some shit. But at this point, it doesn't even matter because he's cracking down on the cuts like they're in North Korea and just completely banning that shit regardless if people like the band or not.
