Growing up it was always like oh marry the doctor the lawyer the engineer the guy you know who has the money. And then when I was like coming to terms with my sexuality, I'm like, well, what if I don't end up with the man? And then, you know, like women historically have made less than guys, you know, there's the gender pay gap, gender investing gap, women aren't investing as much as men are. And that's when I really got interested in finances because I'm like, okay, well, if I have a wife, I want to be able to support her, I don't want her to have to worry about money. So that's was a real big catalyst for me to learn about money and now at 32. I'm almost to my first million. So it worked financially lite, fam, amazing. I love this. Um yeah. But all of this to say is that if you are part of the community, the LGBQ+ IA, like learn about money. There's so many extra expenses that we have to have as being part of this. Um so it's so important to just get on top of your finances and if you need help, let me know.
