I secured a full-time job 6 months before graduating. Here's everything I did.

1. Prioritise grades Whoever said grades don’t matter is straight up lying to you. They are one of the biggest indicators on a person’s ability to be disciplined, learn fast and work hard. All traits employers look for. I did whatever it takes to do as well as possible, even if that meant losing a few hrs of sleep or missing some events. 2. Be selfish People will question your methods, why your working so hard, why you’re doing crazy things, then after, they’ll ask how you did it. Only you know your own path, what’s best for you and what you have to do to win. If they’re not supporting you, there’s no reason to listen. 3. Drop the ego No matter how good you think you are, there’s always a way to getter. I got rejected from hundreds of applications, it hurt but it was necessary. In the grand scheme of things, you lose nothing from getting rejected. Get comfortable with it, be prepared to improve and keep going.
