Hey there, my name is Isaac and here's my journey around the world and back Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, The United States (2003) Only stayed for 9 months here, and don't remember anything Moved to Jakarta, Indonesia (2004-2006) Unfortunately didn't even learn the language properly but it seemed like a fun time Moved to Sydney, Australia (2006-2012) Spent my childhood here, loved the big city vibes Moved to Brisbane, Australia ☀️ (2012-2019) Where I would consider home and developed my closest friendships Moved to Duluth, Minnesota, USA 🇺🇸 (2019-2021) Moved during grade 11 and experienced some of the toughest moments of my life. Started university in Minneapolis @ The University of Minnesota ⚡ (2021) Finally got to experience my birth city after so long. American universities are a whole different ball game, had so much fun Moved back to Australia 🇦🇺 and transferred to The University of Queensland 💜 (2022) Couldn't afford the american universities so went back to something familiar Studied in Dalian, China 🇨🇳 (2023) Spent a month studying abroad and experiencing China to its full extent, a lifelong dream of mine Interned at a Cybersecurity in Indonesia 🇮🇩 (2024) Always wanted to experience my ethnic country fully. Had a ton of fun but let's just say I realised why my parents emigrated. Interned on a startup program in Singapore 🇸🇬 (2025) Spent two years trying to get into this program but it was worth every rejection. Best month of my life. Working as a Software Engineer back in Australia 🇦🇺 (2026) I'm grateful to have been able to experience so many places but I don't want it to end here. It's been hard with a corporate job but I still wanna explore so much more. Follow along for the journey.
