Day 85 of 100 days of posting to buy my house. Now listen, my client showed up with red hair and I had no red braiding hair in stock. I had just gotten my nails done, feeling cute and everything and listen, I did not know what to do. I expressed to her that I didn't have the hair that matches her hair color and honestly she did not mention beforehand that she had dyed her hair. So I explained that I wouldn't feel comfortable taking her money and using black braiding hair because she was so serious about getting her hair done that she would not leave. She wasn't leaving without getting her hair done, okay? So what she did, she quickly Googled to find a beauty supply store nearby that had the exact color that she wanted and God was on her side because she did find one. She even left her food at my place to show me how serious she was that she wasn't going to leave until she had gotten her hair done. Now this is almost 7:00 p.m. at night. She went and she got the hair and we went straight into it. Now imagine me doing red hair with a fresh set of nails. Yeah, it's giving risk, but we made it work. I wasn't even upset because as a braider, these are little hiccups, like they are a part of the job. Like doing my nails is just like self-care, but I always have to remind myself in this process that girl, you still do hair. So you have to just be careful of the style that you get and all them stuff. Anything can happen and I was completely fine with that. So we got through the appointment and as you will see, I will be doing some baby hair, which I'm not the biggest fan of. And as you will see, they look a little bit crinkled, so you know, I don't think I do a good job at doing baby hair, but the end results, I love it. It came out super cute and she genuinely loved them and honestly that's all that matters. So let me tell you, now I do stitch braids at 6:30 p.m. in the evening.
