I can explain what an E T F is better than any other finance bro on this app, and I'm not even in finance. I don't know how everybody is getting it so wrong. It's not that complicated. Number one thing you should start investing in when you start your investing journey. If you're new here, hey, girl. Sorry, I just got fired up. I am so passionate about women becoming financially literate. Just kinda chill. We make money. Come on. Let's say you're at Sephora and you buy the OUAI detox shampoo for $40, and there is 16 ounces of product inside. Scalp is clean, your hair smells amazing. 10 out of 10, no notes. Then you grab the OUAI leave in conditioner for $20, and there's 1.8 ounces of product inside. Try it, and you hate it. It makes your hair smell bad. It makes your hair oily. Now you just lost $20 because you're not using this product. It sucks, and it's 20 bucks down the drain. That is what buying individual stocks is like. You're putting your money into one single product, one single brand, hoping that one of them performs well. The detox shampoo performed amazingly. The leave in conditioner sucked. But OUAI also has a travel size set. Got the detox shampoo, the leave in conditioner, and a bunch of other mini products so you've been wanting to try. The shampoo is smaller, it's only 3 fluid ounces. And the leave in conditioner is also smaller. It's only point 8 ounces of product. Travel size set is like an E T F. If you love the detox shampoo, great. You don't have that much of it, but now you get to use it and you get some value out of it. But if you hate the leave in conditioner, that sucks, but there wasn't that much in it anyway. And there's other products inside of this set that you can try out. Travel Set is an E. T. F. An exchange traded fund. It doesn't matter what that means. No one knows what it means. Nobody cares. It's just an E T. F. That is why an E. T. F. Is so great, because you're not investing your money into one product, you're investing it into a mixture of products. In the stock market, an E T F. Works the exact same way. Instead of buying one company like apple or Nike, you buy tiny pieces of hundreds of companies in an E T F. Way less risky, more balanced, and easier to manage. Buying a stock is like splurging on one single product. An E T F. Is like grabbing the travel set. If there's one company in an E T F.
