not financial advice. education only. how I would budget $1200 bi weekly paycheck. this is exactly how I would budget a $1200 bi weekly paycheck if you also had to pay off student loans, had a car payment and car insurance. One of my followers asked me to create this video. I'm all about helping real women with real financial scenarios that they're going through. My entire budget priorities: student loans, expensive rent, investing, self care. Still having money left over for your lifestyle. Fixed expenses. Total: $730. I would allocate $730, which is about 60.8% per paycheck. Rent $500. $500 going to rent. Car payment $120. $120 going into your car payment. Car insurance $60. $60 going to car insurance. Utilities/Phone $50. $50 going to utilities and phone. Investing. Total: $145. For investing, I would allocate $145, which is about 12.1% per paycheck. Brokerage account $100. Inside of your brokerage account, I would put in $100 through auto recurring investments. Roth IRA $40. Inside of your Roth IRA, I would allocate $40 also through auto recurring investments. Crypto $5 (BTC). For slight exposure to crypto, I would allocate about $5 per paycheck. Student Loans $170. For your student debt, I would allocate $170, which is 14.2% of your paycheck. Pay off loan faster: If you wanna pay off that debt quicker, I recommend lowering the rent bill or the amount of money that you're actually contributing to your Roth IRA or brokerage account. Lifestyle $155. For lifestyle, I would allocate $155, which is about 12.9% of your paycheck. Groceries $100. For groceries, I would allocate about $100. TikTok has tons of resources on affordable meals for 3 days. Self care / Learning / Fun $55. For self care, learning and fun, I would allocate $55. Remember that when women understand their finances, AI, technology, crypto, we don't just change our lives, we change our options.
