MY APP My app just went viral on social This is how much money I made For some context, the app that I'm building is called Yorby and it's a social media marketing tool. We have three main features. Number one is a viral content database, which is a handpicked set of viral marketing content that other brands have used to market their product on social media. Number two is a content remixing tool, which allows users to remix any type of content on the internet to fit their specific brand account or niche. You find any video you like on TikTok and Instagram, you upload it to us, and then you tell us how exactly you want to remix it. Lastly, is a content spy tool, which accounts you want to spy on and we monitor them all the time. And then we alert you the minute any of their videos are starting to go viral. Then you can keep tabs on what your competitors are doing, see what's working for them and maybe adapt it to your account as well. The video that went viral is this one right here. And this graph right here shows the increase we got in terms of daily active users. Previously, we had pretty much a very little users, 3 to 5 users only. And then after the video went viral, we skyrocketed to over 120 daily active users. And from the roughly 120 daily active users, we got two users to convert immediately. So we have roughly a 2% conversion rate. Now obviously, best case scenario, every single 120 user that signs up becomes a paid user. So then we automatically add like multiple thousands of dollars of monthly recurring revenue overnight. But reality is, that's not how it's gonna be. At this stage of our app development cycle, we are so early that we don't really even care about generating revenue. We're just happy that we finally have regular users who are using our app a ton. Our app follows a freemium model, so we do have free users and they are using our app remixing tons of content, scrolling endlessly through our viral content database. So we finally can get some type of signal, some type of usage from users. And now we can reach out to them to see how we can better improve our product and get them to continue using our product. So while that may not be the biggest revenue win that we originally thought of, that wasn't really our priority anyways. Now our next step is reach out to them, chat with them more, see what they want us to build, and continue shipping new features and marketing, ship code, ship a new video, every single day. And I'm pretty sure everything is gonna be okay if we do that.
