I have an open source SaaS app that makes 550 bucks a month. I just posted a video about it, like how the cost breakdown and the profit breakdown and um the most asked question, the comments was how I marketed it. So I went and made a marketing video about how I marketed and grew the app and the initial video about the profit and the app itself went viral. It has almost 200,000 views. Um, the marketing even though almost 90% of the comments were about how I marketed it, the marketing video gets relatively few views and few comments. Um, and it reminds me that uh a lot of people don't don't follow through on their ideas. Um, and when people ask me if the app being open source are gonna copy it, um, the the short answer is no, because it's there to copy, market it is there. But I know that very few people are actually going to follow through with it. So yeah, go ahead, copy the app, copy my marketing plan. Um, because yeah, there's enough customers out there. I mean, my app is only a small amount, nothing crazy. It's like about 100 customers. Um, so there's plenty to go around. Um, and yeah, the reason why I'm not worried about that stuff is because I know that very few people will actually follow through on the opportunity. Um, so if you're thinking about something, just go ahead and do it. That's the first step. Launch the app, talk about it, share it with people. Um, that's the video.
