this week i learned about chargebacks as a small business owner
Transcript
a fun thing i learned this week as a first time small business owner is that if a customer places an order, you fulfill that order and it is delivered to them, but they dispute the charge with their bank, the bank will almost always side with them, charge you the amount that they were originally charged, and then charge you an extra fee for fraud, despite the fact that you had absolutely nothing to do with any sort of fraudulent activity and you literally delivered the item to the customer's address. so, that's fun.
