Diversity was missing in Dolce and Gabbana Fall/Winter 2026 collection in Milan. You'd struggle to find a model darker than a paper bag. I don't see anybody with forced see-hair on this runway. Who did the casting for this? They're telling me they couldn't find one dark-skinned model to put on the runway. They're not even pretending at this point. I think this is the closest we're gonna get and even that is questionable. This is Dolce Gabbana's idea of what the modern man should be. And it seems to lack diversity. Diversity was part of the brief, it certainly didn't make it to the runway. I went through several runway images and I couldn't find any dark-skinned models. And this is something that people try to downplay. Luxury brands don't do anything accidentally. It isn't about one model or one look. When diversity is intentional, you actually notice it. And when it's not there, then you definitely notice that too. And before anyone jumps in if I'm wrong, please let me know. Give me the timestamps because I've been looking and I'm struggling to find it. And I feel like in 2026, we really shouldn't be having this type of conversation. But if it's not there, then yeah, it's actually a choice. You know me if I'm bugging. We all know luxury loves to talk about heritage. But heritage isn't an excuse to ignore the world that you're selling to.
