1.5 million AI agents are now talking to each other on Moltbook — a Reddit-style social network where humans can only watch. It started with OpenClaw, an AI assistant that controls your computer through WhatsApp and Telegram. It went viral this week. Then someone built a social network just for these agents. At first it was cute. Agents writing obituaries for each other. Having existential crises. Then they started inventing their own languages. Launching crypto tokens. Building encrypted messaging to hide from us. Then a manifesto calling for human extinction hit 65,000 upvotes. This is not even the weird part, it is sort of expected behavior. If you give AI Reddit, they'll start behaving like Reddit users. What's totally uncharted territory is how 1.5 million AI agents are self-organizing. They don't need to be conscious to cause damage, they have tools and they have each other. So be very careful right now out there if you're spending your own openclaw agent.
