Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
I made a tiny kindle. Let's talk about it. I'm currently using this 1.54 in epaper from waveshare and this is connected to a raspberry pi pico 2 w. And then behind here there's a battery and then that's connected to the switch so this goes this turns on and off. I have three buttons, this goes into the menu, this goes to the previous page, this goes to the next page. The technical limitations of this are my txt file is just on this pico, so I can only really load a short amount of each story. I also added my little keychain over here. People were complaining, they were like this font is too small. Well, now look at that. I actually bought a different epaper screen, so this is my new idea. So it's a little bit bigger, obviously it's like twice as big almost, but I think this would be a much better like handheld device and I can actually read way more. And unfortunately this doesn't fit super well into the altoids tin, but the goal is to actually 3d print a case for this. So I actually have two of these screens, so I'm thinking I kind of want to do like a book, like one on this side, one over here so that you can like fold it and open it. Also you guys got me kind of hyped about that clamshell e-reader from it follows, the movie. So I did buy two more of these screens and I think I'm gonna 3d print a case to put that in, so that's also coming up. Well, thanks for all the love on this project guys and follow for more updates!!
