I made a digital camera from scratch, but there's something really wrong with it. It's kind of ugly. So these buttons are just bare and I don't think they really fit with the rest of the camera, and there's also this extra keychain hook with nothing on it. So let's 3D model and print out some accessories. Since the camera looks like a flower, my first thought was to make a little leaf that could attach to the secondary keychain hook. I've been using Womp to model and it's good for a beginner like me. I eventually want to learn CAD and maybe Blender, but for now this works. So I was able to get something that looked kind of like a leaf in 20 minutes or so. I'm making it seem really easy, but this took a lot of tutorials and Googling. So I sent this off to the printer and used this fun transparent looking filament to print it out. Once it's done, we just had to remove the supports and here's this beautiful little leaf. And it also looks so cute on the camera. Now for the buttons, I'm going to tackle the next and the previous button and I was thinking we make it look like little ladybugs. For this, I measured out the size of the button. The print is going to be really small, so this is going to be a hard one to do. So I got the shape looking kind of like a ladybug, I added some spots, a head and some legs, and then sent this to the printer. I think I messed up the size because this first print was tiny. So I resized, removed the legs and did it again and now this looks a lot better. I decided on not doing a multicolor print and also simplified the model a lot, so now I just had to color in the parts that are black. So now if I glue these buttons on, look how cute. This camera is looking so much better. Now I still have the slider and two more buttons to do, so what should I put on those?
