I got my traditional wedding dresses made in Ghana. I'm from Ghana and I chose Dashi's because my sister in law used them. They did a great job with hers so I decided to send over my inspiration, my material, everything. When I landed, I had a few appointments booked and I actually saw them three times within a week. I tried on the dresses, what it would be like to sit down and this was just the bones of the dresses. So we did some alterations before the beading, the rest of the embellishments came on. My chief bridesmaid was actually in Ghana as well because she was getting married two months after me so she was getting herself sorted. She even got married in Ghana. I came back for a second visit and I think a third to see how the dresses were made because child, what we can only go right once. I'm not coming back. So I saw the bones and everything was amazing and this is how it turned out on the day. My traditional wedding was beautiful. I looked and felt beautiful and Dashi's really is the truth, the life.
