What happens next with Chinese vs American AI?

Seedance 2.0 proves that Chinese AI models are getting really good. I mean, look at this robotics demonstration that just happened in China for Chinese New Year. Those are unitree leaping off of trampolines. I'm going to explain a little bit about what's going on with the Chinese AI ecosystem and why you should be aware right now of what's going to happen in the near future. First and foremost, Chinese AI was behind American AI for a long time, but they are catching up very fast. This week, supposedly, Deepseek V4 will launch. We don't know for sure, but the rumors are that it's very, very good. American AI companies like Anthropic and OpenAI do have an advantage going forward, but that advantage seems to be slowing. One thing that was really interesting this week is that OpenAI actually released this little document sent to the US government. They think that Deepseek might still be trained on their models and they wanted to make the government aware. You know, last year when Nvidia stock was crashed, it was because Deepseek almost the same as the cutting edge model looks kind of like OpenAI might be trying to get something. Thing. The other thing that's important to understand them. There's Kimi K2.5, and there's Qwen 3.5, Zhipu's GLM-5, Bytedance (Doubao), Deepseek, Minimax 2.5, and they are often released as source. Open source. So if you're not familiar with what that means, you can take the model, do what you want with it, what you use, essentially no restrictions on how you would use this. And this undercuts the economics of the AI space because we all know how much money is being spent on data centers. These models can be used essentially for free enough if you have enough server capacity on your own while you're paying $20 to $100 a month as a consumer cutting models companies. Though, the biggest thing though that everybody understands towards game AI. There's a really great, kind of scary paper that everybody should read called AI 2027. It is long, it is kind of science fictiony feeling. You've heard the term AGI or artificial super intelligence that we are in a race right now to get to essentially that of AI that is smarter than all of us put together. And that AI could rule the world. The China versus America thing when it comes to AI actually is much bigger than you might think. They believe that this be geopolitical and just for the average person to be aware of. It's not just about what model can write emails, what kind of videos it can make. This is a race to an intelligence that many believe could actually rule the world. So the China versus America thing comes actually much bigger than you might think.
