Normal isn't coming back. This is the new normal. Alright guys, so I don't think the job market is going back to what it used to be, right? So when we talk about COVID, we were in a two-year illusion, right? To where money was cheap, companies were hiring, you could get a security plus, you could get one certification and you could get a job in a few weeks or a few months, whatever the case was, right? Those days are done, right? We're now in a different economy to where priorities have shifted, money has shifted, the thought process of different companies has shifted. So if I look at it from a company's perspective, if I need a software engineer, or if I need someone in DevOps or whatever IT role, I'm going to select the person that has 20 plus years of experience versus a kid that's just now coming out of college, right? Or even in cybersecurity. I'm going to go with the person that has more experience. So it's a rough scenario because now you have a lot of kids, you have a lot of whoever, graduating from different colleges and then can't find the tech jobs that they would like from an entry-level perspective. Even the entry-level jobs are asking for two, three years of experience, right? So it's it's a different arena altogether. So what can you actually do? I'm going to be very realistic. You're going to have to outwork the competition. You're going to have to be consistent. And it may take you six months, a year to find the job that you're looking for. And I want to be clear, just because you get a security plus, or just because you get a certain certification does not guarantee you any type of job. Yes, you need to have your LinkedIn right. You need to be out there networking and meeting other people. You need to have your career niche down and figure out the pathway that you actually want to do. So really start thinking about these things. I know a lot of people want to get in cybersecurity. Cybersecurity is not the only thing in this industry. You can do many other things, right?
