You should have started studying for your APs yesterday. It's almost March and your AP exams are literally in two months. If you're watching this video, you probably don't know where to start, so let me break it down. Obviously at this point in the year, you probably haven't covered all the content needed for the AP exam, and definitely start working your way up. I would highly recommend finding some kind of comprehensive review or prep book. Acely has so many AP Courses available. Every day or every week you're going to do a couple chapters of the AP that you're trying to cover. Especially for histories, I find it very helpful to keep reading and keep building that knowledge that you already have. Now when you're about a month away from the exam. So at 1 month in, after your initial content review, start doing those practice questions, those FRQ's. Especially for APs. With those long FRQ's, I find it helpful to maybe take a day on the weekend where I just run through one whole FRQ. Now the key here is when you get a question wrong, it's so important to look at why you got the question wrong, so you don't make that same mistake in the future. Especially for those FRQ's, you need to look at the rubric and see if you missed any points or even alternate explanations that could have counted as correct. Only when you're about a week or so away from the exam is the time to start really honing down on these topics that always confuse you. And keep doing practice problems. I highly recommend redoing some of the old FRQ's or MCQs that you've already done, because now you're coming back to it from a new lens, from different things that you've learned throughout your time studying. And of course, don't hesitate to use a CL to help you get those fives. Happy studying!
