Girl, you're doing all this crap for your acne, but yet you won't go to a dermatologist. I've had acne for almost 15 years. Do we really think I've never been to the dermatologist? It seems so. I started to compile a list of the things that I have used and done over the past 15 years. This doesn't even scratch the surface, but hopefully it'll give you like a good idea of what I've been going through. Before we get into it, I have probably been to the dermatologist at least 50 times and I've gone through multiple, multiple dermatologists. Are we ready? Two rounds of Accutane, five years of spironolactone, 10 years of birth control, all of the antibiotics over 30 rounds, doxycycline, minocycline, tetracycline, and all the topical antibiotics. Tretinoin and adapalene, Winlevi, dapsone, and every other possible topical available. All of the acids, niacinamide, sulfur, everything over the counter, Korean skincare, dandruff shampoo, face reality, peels, lasers, washing my face more, washing my face less, not wearing makeup, wearing only acne-safe makeup, changing my pillowcases constantly, not touching my face, drinking more water, drinking less caffeine, more sleep, low impact exercise, stress control, tanning, cutting dairy, cutting gluten, cutting eggs, fasting, minimal routines, extensive routines, blood work. Don't even get me started on supplements. Shall I continue?
