When I started getting acne 15 years ago, I barely had any options to choose from and the ones that were available were so harsh on my skin. It was miserable. So now I'm obviously really really happy to see that there are so many options available. But I really appreciate that brands are now keeping overall skin health in mind along with treating the acne. So it's a bit of a full circle moment. I thought I'd share a line that I would have appreciated so much back then. And a few of my favorite products because I am starting to focus more on topical care. This is the Unblemish regimen from Rodan + Fields. I really like this line because like I said, you know, it has those acne fighting ingredients but also keeps your skin healthy and skin barrier in mind. It includes a refining acne wash, a clarifying toner, a dual intensive acne treatment and invisible matte defense broad spectrum SPF 30. And this line is actually formulated for adult acne, which I really, really appreciate. My personal faves from the line though are the clarifying toner and the dual intensive acne treatment. My skin is extremely acne prone and I get very clogged up. So having a toner with AHA in it to really get rid of those dead skin cells. It's really helpful. But I also love that it gives the skin calm and hydrated with hyaluronic acid, green tea and aloe vera. I've also been experimenting with benzoyl peroxide again. And I love how it clears the breakouts but also prevents new ones, which I need. Because there's pomegranate, chamomile and ceramides in it to help calm redness and again, keep your skin hydrated and balanced. You know, as much as I talk about internal health, we can't forget about the topical care because that is very, very important as well. It's never too late to try things again. And if you're interested in trying these, Rodan + Fields.com. They're available.
