How to protect yourself from this!

Anything that has a camera can be hacked. A hacker can basically view everything that your webcam sees and this includes like your phone, your tablet, your laptop, even like your doorbell and probably the most disturbing one I think is baby monitors. This is why people need to be aware of this kind of stuff. So this video is for educational purposes only and the reason I'm showing you is that once you're aware of it, you can start protecting yourself. So you wanna go onto this URL here shown, shodan.io and this is like Google but for any device with an IP address. So you get like webcam, CCTV and you can actually click on these and look and see what the camera sees and you're gonna see some random stuff on here. So in the caption I'm gonna share stuff you can do to protect yourself and also share this video with anyone who might. So there's also this website here which is called criminalip.io and if you go to search webcam XP, you can see that these will be a list of different webcams open to the internet and open for educational purposes only. The reason that videos is that you can actually try to keep yourself safe. So especially for baby monitors, make sure that you're changing the default username and password for these devices, not publicly exposed to the internet and it goes the same for home security cameras as well. These type of often quite cheaper devices usually come with less security um by default. So make sure that you're setting these up correctly.
