This is the Phone 4a from a brand called Nothing, and they have just released it in this gorgeous shade of pink. Now, Nothing phones look really different to most phones on the market, and they're known for that transparent industrial design, which I personally feel like looks really unique. But what I do like is that even though they look different, I feel like they still feel really familiar in your hands. In terms of the display, we are getting a 6.7 inch AMOLED screen with a 120 hertz refresh rate, which basically just means everything feels super smooth. Here it is next to my iPhone 17 Pro Max, and as you can see, they are pretty much the same size. But the most iconic thing about Nothing phones is their glyph lighting system, and no other brand is really doing this. So on the Phone 4a, we've got the glyph bar, which is this light strip on the back that lights up for notifications, calls, and timers. I mean, you can use it for loads of things, but what I like is that you can customize it. So I've set mine so that it only lights up when a specific person messages me on WhatsApp. It's just a small thing, but it's actually really useful, and it even lights up when you're recording video, which makes it feel like a proper camera. Speaking of cameras, this is probably where I was most disappointed with this phone. So we have a 50 megapixel main camera, 32 megapixel selfie camera, and an 8 megapixel ultra wide. Here are two photos I took on the Nothing phone compared to my iPhone 17 Pro Max. In bright light, the difference honestly isn't huge, but in low light, you can really see the difference, especially when it comes to color. And I really wanted more from the ultra wide lens here, especially as someone who uses the ultra wide quite a lot. I do love the customization options. This is how I set up my lock screen and my home screen. You can really easily like add widgets and make it feel like your own. Overall, I do like this phone. I would love to see some improvements in the camera section, but yeah, if you're bored of seeing the same phones over and over again, this does feel like something different. And they have also released matching pink headphones, so if you want to see a video on those, you know what to do.
