(9:00 am - 11:59 pm) average day in my life saying yes to everything this is what life to everything to a new city character: corporate girlie status: commuting to office I told myself yes to everything for at least one year I love being a homebody and I got engaged who is also a homebody we found ourselves at home a lot but I started to wonder what opportunities I was missing out on because I just increasing my surface area of luck and one day I woke up and I realized many girlfriends I didn't have make plans with and on top of for so many years how to make friends and how to be a good friend so when I moved I truly took this as a fresh start to as many things even if I had a shitty stressful day at work even if I didn't know anyone else going eventually I learned into the discomfort introduce myself to a new person and before I knew it my social calendar was full really really full but it wasn't just breadth I was looking for yearning for depth it is so hard to make new friends in your 20s and 30s and saying yes to everything serendipitously fixed that you know that saying if you want a village a villager saying yes also reminded me how to be a good villager for the people that I care about and finally let go of that hyperindependence
