You are using Claude wrong. Still asking AI to build you a completely custom from the ground up piece of technology, then you're probably doing it wrong. Not only are you doing it wrong, but you're also wasting a bunch of money. What do I mean by that? Let's say you just started a real estate company, and let's say your primary source of income is just short-term rental properties. And now you need to start managing it. So you try to build a managing software. Let's just say you used Claude to do it. This is a prime opportunity where you should not be doing it from scratch. Instead, what you should be doing is using existing code out there and just building on top of it. Now, not only are you going to be able to build it faster, but you know it already works and it's way cheaper. Now, instead of blindly build what you're going to do is get on GitHub. And if you haven't made an account, just go ahead and do that. Now that you have an account, you're going to search exactly what you're trying to build. So in this case, you want to build a property management system. You can even add different queries like it already has integrations with AI. Then what you're gonna find is repositories of people who have already done it. And they've open-sourced it, which means you get everything that they've built for free. And the next step is super simple. You're just gonna plug it into Claude code and you're gonna ask it what are the issues that it has with its system. It's gonna then fix it. Then you're gonna render it on your local machine. Then add all the features that you want. Now, this complex system that would have taken about two hours to render is only gonna take about 15 minutes to do now. You can spend the rest of your time building features and how to source production ready, checking for security, parseable through AI, making sure it doesn't take up too much context window. I'll comment and get and I'll send it to you. I'm trying desperately to gatekeeping 2025.
