The real cost of building something isn't always money. It's Friday movie nights. It's sleep. It's the text to your close friend that says "sorry, I can't make it" for the 7th time this month. Some nights I wonder if it's worth it. But I also remember that I'm not losing everything. I'm trading it for something I care about more. I'll do my hardest to show up for the people I love and myself but sometimes, I'll have to put my head down and get things done. Building something meaningful means you have to trade some things so you can get other things for a while.
