Hi!

Hi! So it's about time that I reintroduce myself. So it's about time that I reintroduce myself if you already know me. Hello, thank you for sticking around, even though I guess that for like two years. We're not going to talk about that. If you don't know me, my name is Debbie, obviously. So I currently live in sunny Dubai. Too sunny Dubai, to be honest. It's like 40 degrees outside. That is way too hot, but I digress. I love technology. I love tinkering with things, trying to figure out like, why does this thing not work? How can I make it work? I love to put together things either just for fun or just helping other people out. So by day, I'm a support engineering manager. And by night, and weekends, I'm building. So Pineway is a set of tools that my friends and I are putting together. And the main idea is we want to build something that would help normal average people become entrepreneurs. If you've been eyeing a side hustle and you're trying to like figure out the logistics of that and everything. I've got something for you. And hopefully, I will be talking about it a lot. Apart from that, I'm also putting together an AI consultancy for small businesses. So if you have a small business, I will be talking a lot about quick AI stuff that you can start implementing in your business right now. I'm hoping that that can help a lot of folks really quickly with like, learning a bit about AI and things like that. So, fun fact, I have a law degree. I know it makes sense to maybe my parents alone. I still find it very surprising that I do have a law degree. I taught myself to code in about my fourth year of uni and from there, I did a bit of support. I dabbled in a bit of software engineering. I came back to support. I got promoted really early and somehow I've ended up building an entire international support engineering team, which is wild. I feel like somebody who did not really have a very technical background, it's incredible. But one thing though, it's not always been very pretty or very rosy. I've had my own fair share of burnout, a lot of moments where I felt like an imposter, a lot of moments where I'm just like, what am I doing? But I think that in those moments, I have just pushed through because we move, you know. So I'm back on Instagram because I want to start documenting all parts of this stuff. I want to make sure that I'm carrying you along and I'm answering questions. I'm helping you, you're helping me figure out stuff. So I'm going to be talking a bit about AI because I just find it very fascinating, especially LLMs at the moment. Tech career gems, just good vibes. So if you are in that stage of life right now, where you're building something, a business, a brand, a product, you're building, you're in the right place. Because I'm going to be talking about that and then doing it in public. And I hope that you follow along.
