Hi there. So everyone has an opinion whether you should build alone or with a co-founder. Statistics, more complicated than the opinion. The studies show that co-founded startups, they raise more funding and they scale faster than solo founded companies. Well, you know, you're not Notion or Canva or Craigslist...so...those are doing fine. But you're not them okay. Big trade off is co-founded businesses mean you share the load, you share the decisions, you share equity. You have someone to call at midnight or wherever when something breaks down. But the downside to that is that someone might leave you or you might leave them. And that someone, their exit can actually kill your company. Let's be honest, 50% of startup failures cite co-founder conflict. But on the solo side, uh solo means full control. It means full accountability, but you're lonely. You move fast, you decide fast, but you burn out faster if you're not careful. Real talk, honestly, the question is not about solo or co-founder, it's about whether you have the specific gap that needs the specific person. And if yes, you find that person. And if no, don't manufacture a co-founder just because an investor asked. Truthfully, a bad co-founder is worse than no co-founder at all.
