Things I stopped doing For God. I became a Christian like three months ago, only three months ago. It's very recent. But that I was a bottle girl and was living in full sin. And then three months ago, I had an encounter with the Lord and I decided to turn to Christ. Here are the things that I had to give away since becoming a Christian girl. The first thing isn't really something I had to give away, but it was something I had to gain and it's sexual discipline. If I'm going to become a Christian, I'm gonna go all the way. So I literally gave up on everything. I gave up on masturbation, I gave up porn, I stopped sex. Period. I officially became abstinent and it's been a month. It's been a month on the 15th. So it's been a month. It's my first time saying it all out. The second thing I had to give up was substances in general. So as I said in the beginning, I used to be a bottle girl and that naturally comes with alcoholism. Everyone around me, from my work and, you know, just it was a normal thing to be an alcoholic. So I became one. And I also abuse other types of substances. I was heavily and heavily addicted to marijuana and to vaping and smoking cigarettes. I used to think it was a normal thing to drink until you don't remember anything, drink until you black out. I used to think that was the only way to drink because I was surrounded by that, working bottle service. I was drunk every weekend and sometimes I did remember the shift that I had the day before because I was so drunk and I barely even remembered how I got home. It was that bad. I also let go of literally everyone in my life that is still on that. All the friends that I used to do drugs with or heavily involved with, I just stopped speaking to them. I realized that I was basically a new age practitioner. And I found out a lot of things that I was doing, I found out that I was basically a new age practitioner, especially that I had friends that were obsessed with manifestation and all that kind of stuff. So I had to let go of that. And I just re-centered my identity and made it in Christ as opposed to the universe or mother nature or my own, like manifestation type of thing. All those things had one thing in common. They fed my flesh and they were immediate gratification. You don't have to wait with new age. You don't have to be patient. You don't have to wait for God's timing because you're your own God. You would think that it felt like lust, but actually it didn't. It felt like strength. It felt like empowerment. It felt like me getting closer and closer to the Lord Almighty. And honestly, life feels better, brighter, and I finally feel complete. So no regrets. See you on the next one.
