Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
I have six months left to build a successful personal brand and I need seven videos by tomorrow. Let me show you the exact system I use to turn a blank week into a content plan. Step one: Content Pillars. My content pillars are Educational, Execution, and Conviction. And they need to stay balanced because they each have a different job. If I only post educational content, you learn from me, but you never really know me. But if I only post execution content, you follow the journey, but you don't get as much value. And if I only post conviction content, we connect emotionally, but the brand starts drifting into territory. So first, I decide how many videos I want in each pillar. Step two: Picking the topics. Since I'm building publicly, most of my content comes from real life. So before I pick anything, I ask myself these three questions. What did I learn this week that I'm implementing into my own life? That gives me videos for pillar one, education. What moved the needle this week? That gives me videos for pillar two, execution. And what's been on my heart lately? What challenged me, what convicted me? That gives me videos for pillar three, convictions. Once I have those answers, choosing a topic becomes ridiculously easy. That's why I'll die on this hill: Stop faking expertise and start documenting your journey. And you'll never run out of ideas. So for this week, I'm thinking these two educational videos: "Shelby branding strategy" and "The fastest way to ruin your personal brand." And then I have two conviction videos, mainly this specific one: "Embarrassment is the cost of entry" and "3 sacrifices for success." And finally, three execution videos because there's been a lot of executing happening in my life within my business. Step three: Lock it in. We're picking filming day, which in my case is today, and then we're also picking posting day. And everything immediately goes into the Notion calendar because we move different when things are scheduled. It's in motion. And just like that, this week's content is now planned. Now all that's left to do is filming, posting, and being relentless about it. How about you? What are you working on this week?
