I watched this 5 hour branding masterclass so you don't have to. It's going to completely change the way you see content creation. If you're anything like me, you've probably already contracted fake guru fatigue by now. You know, those people trying to sound like experts online before they've even mastered what they're teaching. That's terrifying. But what's even more terrifying? Turning into the very thing you hate. Terrifying. I wanted to talk about entrepreneurship and growth while becoming the person fully teaching on the internet. But it felt like the internet only respects you once you sound like an expert, and the fake guru pipeline looking like the price of admission. Thank god that content didn't take off because God really said, no baby, that is not your calling. But that masterclass completely shifted my mindset. So here is the biggest takeaway I learned from it. In the educational content space, you're either students, experts, and the ones in between. If you're an expert, teach publicly. But if you're a student, hide in your closet and study day and night relentlessly, no foot and water, until you've amassed enough expertise to have the audacity, dare, and make content. Not joking. He, if you're a student, great. Hmp. But here's the kicker, publicly! Fail publicly, succeed publicly, experiment publicly and have your audience watch your journey. Turns out the fake pipeline isn't required. You can become your audience's guinea pig and have them watch you become an expert in real time. That's exciting, but it also feels super naked. It's definitely not for everyone. It's for me. Anybody can call themselves an expert online, but very few people are willing to become one publicly.
