Taking the May SAT and you don't solve this question, this is on every SAT. And you don't solve this question, you are absolutely cooked because they show up literally every single month. The equation above is true for all values where x is not negative 3. And c is a constant. We need to find the value of c. What we need to do when we are looking for the value of a constant in an equation is we need to use regression. Basically, we go into Desmos and write out this equation. But anytime we see an x, we have to write x1. You literally just type out a 1 after it. So x1 + 3. This is equivalent. We don't write an equal sign instead, we use an equivalent sign. X1 - 3 + 4 divided by x1 + 3. This is true for all values where x is not negative 3. So you need to go in and make a list for x. It 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. And then we make it x1. And we'll see that c is going to be 5.
