Why proving you're real is hard

This artist has been wrongly accused of using AI. Here's how I know he's real. First is consistency. His videos from yesterday look the same as videos made in July of last year. But AI advanced a lot during that period. Here's what it would have looked like in July, quite bad. Here's what it would look like today, still not great. Second is video length. He has always done long takes, but recently he posted an unedited three-minute-long video, which is a really good way to refute AI accusations because fully generated AI videos are usually under 15 seconds, some are up to 25, and they can go longer, but it gets very expensive and can start to fall apart. Third, AI videos are only consistent when they're given start or reference frames, but his hands, which are very consistent, start outside the frame, come in, and an AI video would not nail this tattoo every time mid-video. This is clearly not the profile of an AI scammer. I say this with the utmost respect. Why would someone with some incredible theoretical AI model be making these videos and selling clay starter kits? This is someone who clearly loves what they do. And when he's wrongly accused, he's put into a witch-hunting scenario. People are asking him to do a live stream to prove he's real, and he's 100% right to say no, because you will always be able to pixel peep and find weird things in real videos, especially in a live stream where bit rates can drop and mistakes happen. People are seeing ghosts. Proving that you're real is a nightmare, and that's why you have to be very careful when making AI accusations from a position of power.
