A few years ago, I was teaching myself how to code and honestly wondering if there was even a place for me in tech. Fast forward to last week, and I’m in Houston surrounded by some of the smartest Black founders, developers, and leaders in the country. Not just in the room, but getting to share what I know too. That felt surreal. And I kept thinking about how none of this happened because I felt ready. It happened because I kept showing up while feeling unready. That’s the part people don’t talk about enough. The work you do quietly adds up. The risks you take add up. The skills you build when nobody is watching add up. And one day you look around and realize you’re in rooms you used to only imagine being in. If you feel behind right now, keep going. Seriously. So much can change in a year. Part 2 coming; taking you inside a live Claude Code demo and what AI education looked like in practice. let me know what you think #claudecode #womenintech #blackwomenintech
