Stop making their wedding location about you. Hot take, I am more likely to attend if it's abroad. I mean, I get a trip and a wedding. I completely agree with this. A lot of people, they think that destination weddings are selfish. If it's selfish to have a destination wedding, then I am super selfish because let's say you have your wedding in like Greece or Turks and Caicos, it's now going to be my trip featuring your wedding. Quite frankly, I don't even care about your wedding anymore. Why would I want to use PTO to go to Arkansas when I can use PTO to go to Mykonos and make a whole trip out of it? Like, I'm going to be jet skiing during the day and in the evening I'm going to be at your wedding festivities, so everybody's going to be happy.
