Senior Devs Aren't As Good As You Think

Senior devs aren't as good as you think. And once I realized this, everything changed. This insight is so important and let me tell you why. I dealt with so much imposter syndrome when I was starting out in the tech industry and once you recognize that everyone, especially at the senior level, is just trying to figure it out, you stop stressing about things so much. Now, I don't want to discredit senior devs because obviously they're senior for a reason. They have the text, they've been in the industry longer, so they've probably seen the problems you've seen it more times and that's what makes them valuable. But having a fresh perspective and coming in with a fresh set of eyes, I think is also very, very helpful. And I wish I would have seen a video like this when I was starting out in my career because it would have saved me a lot of unnecessary stress.
