Here's how to work on documents, spreadsheets and Powerpoints, offline on your laptop with AI, but unlike something like Claude Cowork it's gonna be private, secure, save you loads of work and you can do it for free because we're gonna use open source AI. So my setup here is AnythingLLM - a totally free open source app that loads the latest open source AI models from Google, Meta etc and I'm running that on a Razer Blade laptop with a GeForce RTX 50 series GPU from NVIDIA who were kind enough to send me this for free. Cheers guys. Link in bio for the latest laptops powered by RTX 50-series tech. This thing's a beast. This will give me enough horsepower to run this setup completely locally at the highest power. So in AnythingLLM you wanna make sure you switched on these settings in Agent Skills. File system access - On. Document creation - On. And if you want the ability to search the web you can switch that on, it's still not leaking your data out to the internet but if you wanna keep it completely offline that's OK too. Also, you can connect your favourite tools with the MPC servers, they may start to leak your data depending on what you use but by all means add the things you trust if you find them useful. And then just like in Claude Cowork, you can generate custom skills very easily so you could train it to create documents or Powerpoints in exactly your brand style just by starting a new chat. And now you're set up with a totally free, totally secure AI workstation to help you be more productive.
