There’s a really interesting difference between making something look organized… and making something function well enough to support the life you’re trying to build. Aesthetic organization is honestly the easy part for me. I can make almost anything look beautiful. But functional systems? Systems that actually work day after day, while you’re tired, overwhelmed, growing too fast, changing directions, running out of space, learning as you go? That’s a completely different skill set. I think that’s why this whole process has felt so emotional at times. Because I’m not just cleaning a garage or listing random thrift finds. I’m trying to build infrastructure for a future version of my life that doesn’t fully exist yet. And sometimes that means solving one problem… only to uncover three more underneath it.
