Hook

As someone who's a good conversationalist and also has a good personality, but is not a people person or a social butterfly, one thing I never played about is I don't let people get too comfortable with me too soon. From jump. I don't like people feeling too over familiarise with me. From jump. It's a hard pass. No, absolutely not. Don't be trying to joke around with me. Like, you know me for years and we cool like that and we homeboys and homegirls, ha ha. That will get checked immediately. Actually, that's what people try and, like, play in your face and see how far they can take it. Absolutely not. Like if you first meet a guy and he tries to do the whole fake flirting and nagging stuff. Yeah, no, that's not gonna fly over here. That will get checked. Absolutely not. Absolutely not. I don't know you like that. And then when you check it, it's, oh, um, I didn't mean it like that. You can't take a joke? Yeah, no, I can take a joke, just not from you. You don't even know me well enough to know what jokes I can or cannot take. Again, we don't know each other like that. Hard pass. And women also do this too. They're trying to, like, overshare all their business with you from jump to, like, see what you'll tell them and stuff like that. And me personally, I hate when people overshare with me when I first meet them. No, I don't have nothing to tell you. Or it could be something like you just meet a girl and she's like, oh, hey, bitch. You don't even know if I like being called that. You know, like, it's a boundary thing. I'm very quick. Very, very quick. Never let people get too comfortable and feel like they know you like that, because that's when they'll try and try their hand. And if you don't address that from jump, they're gonna keep trying that hand. Yeah, it's a thin line. Let's not cross it.
