So for my final project, I decided to bring that architecture down to earth. I didn't just want to build something basic to pass and graduate. I wanted to build a commercial grade solution. The problem with standard solar panels is that they are static. They lose up to 40% of sun's energy just by sitting still. So I engineered this, a fully autonomous dual-axis solar tracking rover. It uses light-dependent resistors and intelligent microcontrollers to mathematically track the sun's trajectory across sky, adjusting itself on X and Y-axis for 100% energy absorption.
